RBM Eye Institute was established in 1991 at Prashant Vihar by a pioneering ophthalmologist Dr. R.B. Jain who returned from England after his MRC(Ophth) and FRCS degrees and many years of specialization in U.K. Currently RBM Eye Institute is run by Dr. R.B. Jain himself and his next generation Dr. Abhishek Jain who is also a leading Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon. Dr. Abhishek Jain did his post-graduation and specialisation from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, one of the largest and prestigious institutions of India.
