Jain who returned from England after his MRC(Ophth) and FRCS degrees and many years of specialization in U.K. Currently RBM Eye Institute is run by Dr. R.B. Jain himself and his next generation Dr. Abhishek Jain who is an Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon.

2. What are the types of Refractive Surgeries?

- PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy) : This procedure removes the outer layer of the cornea (epithelium) before reshaping the underlying tissue with a laser.

3. How long is the surgery and what is the recovery time post surgery?
- The actual surgery usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes for both eyes. The whole visit might last for a couple of hours
- Most people start to see better within 24 hours after LASIK. For PRK, it might take a few days because the outer layer of the cornea needs time to heal.
